Meringues (makes +- 12)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup castor sugar (or plain white sugar)
  • 1tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 Tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 egg white
  • 1tsp baking powder

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients together except baking powder.
  2. Beat for 10-15 minutes until stiff
  3. Fold in 1 tsp baking powder.

Cooking Time & Temperature:
Bake at 125°C for 1 hour and then let cool for one hour.
