Creamy Chocolate Fudge
Submitted by Suré

Ingredients:

  • 75g Unsalted butter ( cut into even pieces)
  • 500g Plain chocolate
  • 400g Condensed milk
  • 2.5ml Vanilla essence

    Method:
  1. Lightly grease a 20cm cake tin with the butter.
  2. Break the chocolate into small pieces, and place in a heavy-based saucepan together with the butter and condensed milk.
  3. Stirring constantly on low heat, melt the chocolate and butter, until the mixture becomes smooth.
  4. Remove the mixture from the heat, and gently beat in the vanilla essence. Continue stirring until the mixture thickens.
  5. Pour the mixture into the cake tin, and smooth the top. Place it in the fridge for 1 hour or until firm.
  6. Turn the fudge out on a chopping board, and cut into squares. It's now ready to serve

Comments:
I am not a big fan of fudge, but this is delicious, it takes less than 30 min to prepare, and once it's done, it's the best thing to have when feeling like somehing sweet. It doesn't have that hard texture of normal fudge, it's a soft texture. Enjoy!!
