Banana Bread Recipe (2)

Ingredients:

  • 4 bananas
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 125g margarine
  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp bicarb
  • pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Cream margarine and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.  
  3. Sift dry ingredients (except bicarb) together and add alternatively with milk to mixture of margerine and sugar.  
  4. Mash bananas well, add to mixture, beat well.  
  5. Lastly add the bicard mixed in small quantity of allocated milk.  Place in a well greased tin.   

Baking Time:

  1. Bake for 1 hour at 180 °C.
