Question 3: Why should I have vitamin A and what foods can I eat that contains it?

What we don’t realise is that we, as adults don’t always take in enough Vitamin A which is used by the body to create healthy skin and maintain the epithelial tissues which makes up the skins surface as well as improving our eyesight.

By not taking in enough Vitamin A it can lead to poor vision in dim light and possibly encourage a degeneration of the immune function which develops immune cells.

The best sources of Vitamin A are: Carrots, Pumpkins, Grapefruit, Spinach, Butternut Squash and Sweet Potatoes.
