| How do I make ice cream at home without an ice cream machine? |
Follow this easy recipe, the trick comes afterwards, when you prepare to freeze the ice cream, but we have instructions for that too.
Ingredients
- 4 cups cream
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Directions
- In large bowl, combine ingredientsand mix well.
- Pour your ice cream mixture into a deep baking dish or bowl made of plastic or stainless steel, whatever you decide, make sure that it is durable
- Place into the freezer
- After 45 minutes, open the door and check it. As it starts to freeze near the edges, remove it from the freezer and stir it vigorously with a spatula or whisk. Try and break up any frozen sections. Return to freezer.
- Continue to check the mixture every 30 minutes, stirring vigorously as it’s freezing.
- Keep checking periodically and stirring while it freezes until the ice cream is frozen. It will likely take 2-3 hours to be ready.
